Birds Still Aren’t My Friends.

(Note: If you’re prone to queasy stomachs, or are a loyal member of PETA, read the following at your own risk.)

It’s a sad day for the bird community here in urban KC.

Winter has descended; the air conditioners are now too cold for perching. (One point for Emmy; no points for the birds.)

Winter has descended; the trees are too drafty for public restroom activities. (One point for Emmy’s shoes; no points for the birds.)

Winter has descended; my navy blue car is slowly turning to murky gray and is no longer a distinguishable target. (One point for Emmy’s car; no points for the birds.)

Winter has descended; the birds are at flight risk. Evidence of this can be found on the courtyard of my apartment building. Blood and feathers. It ain’t pretty. (No points for Emmy; no points for the birds.)

Once again, birds are stalking my life.

Apparently, Jenny Humphrey‘s minions heard my prayer. (Points for promptness ladies; minus points for the graphic leftovers.)
